Before there was Quantico’s Alex Parrish, there was Sydney Bristow.

Alias premiered 15 years ago today on September 30, 2001 and aired on ABC. Created by J.J. Abrams, it told the story of Sydney Bristow (Jennifer Garner) who led a double life. She was an agent for the CIA but pretended to be an operative for a criminal spy organization known as SD-6.  Sydney had to hide her identity from family and friends in order to keep them safe.  Throughout the series’ run, she took on different aliases and disguises.  Additionally, she had fight skills that would rival Xena.

In addition to Garner, the cast of Alias included Ron Rifkin as Arvin Sloane, the head of SD-6,  Michael Vartan as Michael Vaughn, Sydney’s CIA handler who became her partner and also love interest, Bradley Cooper as Will Tippin, Sydney’s friend and a reporter who later works as an analyst for…

And then came.” Young Kate “Me” Jack: “And Mom said wee. And then came.”  Young Randall: “Me” Jack: “That’s 3.” The cheer ends with all of them hitting their…

The much talked about new NBC drama This Is Us focuses on a group of mid-thirties adults who share the same birthday.  Viewers will watch them navigate through their lives.  But there’s a twist.

If you haven’t seen the pilot episode of This Is Us, please do not continue reading.

It was revealed in the first episode that Jack and Rebecca (Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore) are the parents of Kevin, Kate and Randall (Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz and Sterling K. Brown).  Kevin and Kate are twins and Randall, who was abandoned at a fire station shortly after his birth, is the child that they adopted after their third child was stillborn.  Episodes will shift from Jack and Rebecca’s relationship and raising their children in the past to the adult kids lives in the present.  This take on time travel offers interesting possibilities.

Here is the official synopsis…
